Before the Interview

  • Prepare Your Questions: Have thoughtful questions ready to ask the interviewer about the role, team, company, or culture. This shows engagement.
  • Plan Logistics: Confirm the interview time, location (or video call link), interviewer names, and plan your outfit.

During the Interview

  • Make a Good First Impression: Be punctual, dress professionally, offer a firm handshake (if in person), and maintain good eye contact.
  • Listen Actively: Pay close attention to the questions asked. Ask for clarification if needed.
  • Communicate Clearly: Be concise and articulate. Avoid rambling. Use professional language.

After the Interview

  • Send a Thank-You Note: Email a personalized thank-you note to each interviewer within 24 hours. Briefly reiterate your interest and mention a specific point from the conversation.
  • Follow Up (If Necessary): If you haven't heard back by the timeline provided, a polite follow-up email is appropriate.
